Alright. And tou are sure your cpu is scaling up when needed?
Next question: what graphic card is in there?

The thing that matters the most to TS is single core performance. 2.2 ghz is WAY below minimum requirements.
Getting stuffed by tech just sucks.
I once lost all keyboards that i had recorded for an album. Even then i had a HUGE library of samples and sounds, and reconstructing it all took 4 solid workweeks. And i swear that eventhough the new keyboards were fine, the recordings i lost had the edge.
StS i have tested if train lenghts are reliable. They are.
Sometimes the dispatcjer code just disregards matkers.
Are you using an external soundcard or perhaps bluetooth headphones?
If yes, switch to the internal soundcard.
Is the SCMT working ok with the Sfm Torino route?
If yes, what train do i need to buy for this repaint?
This tool is not a magic one click thing.
You still need to deal with tracks not exactly lining up at the “glue point”. You need to decide what assets in the overlapping tiles to use. You need to fix the links in signalisation, and possibly manage different signal scripts. Manage trackrules that do not match. You need to fix the Oberleitung…
Etc etc etc….
I think it takes more work than people realise.
Just announced to wip users. The next RSSLO project is a combine of Wörgl Saalfelden and Salzburg Schwarzach plus the missing section via Zell am See.
StS It is a good suggestion, but i have tried it, and unfortunately it does not make a difference. Saving and cloning (which is really “save as”) is a part of my work flow anyway. So i regularly do that.
But i think it is simply the combined scenario/route stress on the ram that makes this happen.
First: i am not saying there is an error in the route building, i am just trying to get to the bottom of my problems with this.
1: This goes for many routes; sometimes page two of a spawn point locks and you can’t click in it. (See video)
2: However, Mü-Br is the only route where clear cache does not seem to help.
I have a couple of theories, but while i have extensive knowledge in regards to creating quick drives, preloads etc, this falls totally outside my knowledge.
Theory one; the code that controls the spawnpoints was never properly updated to 64 bits. So when i have put in a certain amount, TS just wont let me do more. But this does not explain why clear cache resets the problem on all other routes.
Theory two: Mü-Br is a huge route with an enormous amount of beautifully detailed scenery, accurate signalling etc etc. I am simply hitting my ram max in the scenario editor (i have 16gb of ram)
Theory three: there is a limit to the amount of spawn points. That limit is route based (though i do not really see why this should be)
Anyway, this is grating on my nerves, since Mü-Br is the cream of the crop when it comes to TS routes, and i really do want to make great Real Drives for it.
Is there anything at all i can do about this?
jpvdveer patrick-tau re the E464. It is not really compatible with the SMTC that is used on SFM torino. But there are trains that are.
patrick-tau there is. If you are on facebook i recommend the trainsim italia group. They’ll guide you.
Also look in the thread Großprojekt Stadler Flirt. That guy has something coming.
patrick-tau Get the SFM Torino route. All of Torino Bardonechio is included plus a lot more. For a freeware route, it is a really amazing piece of work. It nails the “i am driving in italy” feel really good.
I can live with the limitations of TS graphics.
I can’t live with the lack of creative tools of TSW.
mirko_o Before May is over i think.
REAL DRIVE advanced, Bremerhaven - Bremen. The randomness made this drive more busy than usual. But that is what those are all about. Variation.
That was one German rule i did not know. Untill now. Makes sense. That is why Lokführer that drive freight trains can drive many routes, just using the Buchfahrpläne, as long as they keep under 100km/h?
This must be what is happening:
I must be gettin hit by the Bremskurve very quick because i am going 150 km/h. The strange thing is that the Standort of the Vorsignal makes it impossible to react soon enough. I do acknowledge but i am hit by the Bremskurve faster than the brakes can work. Only with Streckenkenntnis (is that the right word) can i avoid that.
PushingTin 3;30
If i didn’t acknowledge at the right place, the 1000hz lamp would not light up.
Can i ask? Why is there a gpa at that Vorsignal. What purpose does it serve, when all it needs Signaltechnisch is a 1000hz magnet.
