Just an update. Right now i am going through all the nearly finished Real Drives for RSSLO routes to correct them because of an error in the RSSLO signal scripts which causes the signals to sometimes not spot if a signal block is occupied. I have found a workaround but correcting all the drives is more timeconsuming than expected. But a lot of stuff is coming your way in the near future.

Danke. Yes i got it figured out by now

DTG states chinese localisation for a particular route.
-
Latest update is just an update for a chinese route. Not a core update.
-
I found this out as well. Some routes do not have textured distant terrain. Mainly routes from DTG. This is why there is a difference between the view from DTG and RSSLO when you look south from Rosenheim.
-
Getting the hang of this. Mittenwaldbahn is so much nicer with mountains to the south of Inntal.
Is there a way to force TSC to generate distant terrain at a greater distance? I think the default is 20km.

tom87 We are not in disagreement. Right now the problem with swiss trains in TSC is this;
That Rivet Games chose to build their own version of ZUB (and that it was greatly simplified, no frei button, no braking curve enforced etc…)
So we don’t really have a swiss Flirt of any particular good quality.
-
I asked if there would be a version with ZUB, to which the answer was no.
-
Yes, the problem for me seems to be if there are several overlaying assetblocks. Clicking a corner seems more reliable.
-
What webpage do you use as source? It has to be files that makes mountains look ok.

Come on people. It’s only a 10% increase. TSC products has been on the same price level for years while everything else around us have gotten more expensive. It’s called inflation, and TSC developers have a right to actually earn money, just as the rest of us do. And then 3dzug has the honesty to come forth and both explain, while also saying, grab stuff now if you want the lower price. I think thats recomendable business practise.
Consider the alternative, which is the shrinkflation practises we’ve seen from RSSLO where instead of a price hike, the quality has been turned down a bit instead. I know what i prefer.

I think i found yet a way to do this. In the editor the boundaries of assetblocks show up as thin coloured lines. Zoom in on a line and doubleclick on it, and then the fly-out menu for that assetblock will appear.
-
Holzlaender Ok that’s interesting. How do you move assetblocks? I am learning fast, but still a lot to learn.
-
Unfortunately no luck. Works fine with assets, but you can’t cycle through assetblocks with the number keys.
-
Holzlaender Danke sehr. Worth a try.

Ok i am getting the hang of this vegetation thing. It’s much fun. Been upgrading all RSSLO routes.
I have a question. Is there a way to cycle through asset block selection? There has to be an easier way than clicking a hundred times before you get lucky and select the right asset/assetblock.

Looks f…..g amazing!!!!! Some of those pictures blew my mind.

Shouldn’t we have a thread about this in kommercial addons, now that it’s available?

Swapping out some vegetation on Passau Regensburg. Certainly an improvement to have more variation.
Ok, found out what was causing the AP pack to have tile load stutters. Ever since i bought a new computer i had all quality sliders set to max. But i have to compromise with shadow quality to not get in trouble in heavy forested areas when the vegetation is swapped with AP.
I can live with that.
