The goal is quick drives that are not boring “green light all the way”. And in these you don’t know where on the route you have trains (that generates a red light) in front of you. So it is more like a standard scenario. But trains are random generated so it’s never the same twice.

Ai traffic in quick drive can only spawn what is in the blueprint/preload folder. It is not my fault that DTG did not put anything more interesting in the preload folder for this route. Don’t blame me for that!
As for how many ai trains there are: don’t forget that there are more than you see. Every red signal you come to is generated by an ai train. If the signalling/signal links of the dtg routes were better and the ts dispatcher was better coded i could put more trains in there. But i can’t without ts crashing with error messages. Not my fault.
But be my guest, make one that is better than this one. Take up the challenge.
Btw: not long ago a pensioned British rail driver wrote to me that the random aspect of those made it the most close to reality scenarios he had tried in Train Simulator.
