[Aerosoft] Köln-Düsseldorf + Überarbeitung

Hi Fight43dom, and thanks for posting it! This is a wonderful project and I wish you all the best and good luck, and I hope you and the team will manage to complete it! It will definitely be an amazing route, and exactly, this is what I am talking about - enthusiast guys build better, longer, more exciting routes than payware compaines... Aerosoft should learn from this! They are supposed to be the one of two main providers of official continental European addons - and all they come up with is a short 40 km route section for 30 EUR...
Oh, and I just heard that they will also release Berlin Wittenberg... Is it a joke? One station??? For 25 Euros... Omg... Only one single station, this is absolutely ridiculous! They want money for zero work??? My message to Aerosoft: BUILD PROPER ROUTES, and not stations!!! It's a rip off. We want ROUTES. And they even dare to put it on their website, what a shame!!! It's time to boycott this arrogant company who wants to sell us ONE STATION for 25 EUR and even calling it a "new route" ...
-
Please stop saying this, and certainly not as loud, I'm here and I can hear you. Perhaps you don't know it yet, but I work for Aerosoft and I am also one of the builder of the route Cologne-Duesseldorf, and I can tell you that it is not so easy for a company build beautiful but cheap, especially if there is no prior knowledge about the technics and the technology in RW.
And if you do not want to pay for the work of others you have to build your own route. You can not expect people to build a beautiful track and they'll give you for free. Nowadays, everything costs money.
My project from Cologne to Frankfurt is privately developed by my team, so we can build such a long route. But this will not be for nothing.
It's like this, please accept this. And sorry fpr my english, it is not as good as i wish it

Hi kityatyi
Just to let you know, Berlin-Wittenberg is build by another third party developer and will be there first steps with Railworks. This route is build by the TrainTeamBerlin and Aerosoft is only the publisher.
So, please come down a little bit and watch your words.
regards, Jim

kityatyi: Fight43dom works for Aerosoft and the Cologne - Frankfurt route probably will be payware, too. At least that is how I understood the start post from his linked thread.
Berlin - Wittenberg is not just one station, there is about 115 km distance between the two cities. I've googled it for you here: http://g.co/maps/mzrxp - the road path roughly follows the rail track. And think before such a flame attack, releasing one station as payware at that price who would pay for it? No one.

If the Cologne to Frankfurt will be payware, that is gonna be a great payware and I am sure, well worth the money. That is a real, long route, 180 kms long, and I am ready to pay for it even more than 30 Euros.
As for the Berlin-Wittenber, indeed, it is over 100 kms, and another route ending in the middle of nowhere. Originally it was supposed to go to Leipzig...
No need to calm me down, I am not angry, and I believe I did not use any offensive words, I just said my personal opinion. I am not against payware stuff, even, I love payware when they deliver content and quality.
What I think is, 3rd parties definitely need to focus more on the continental European raliroads, because we have not much to choose from, even though Germany has the longest rail network in Europe having over 40K kms of track, being fifth in the whole world - I am not German but I do say that it is a shame that Germany is so sparsely represented in Railworks so far. Hopefully it will change in the near future.

Es gibt drei neue Screenshots. Gefallen mir richtig gut! http://forum.aerosoft.com/inde…ots-von-koeln-dusseldorf/

Gibt mal wieder eine Kleinigkeit zu sehen.... Hier
!
LG misc35!

I have to admit that the Cologne to Dusseldorf route looks really beautiful. My words were not against its quality, but mostly its quantity, it will be a nice route, my only concern is that it's too short. But otherwise it's definitely gonna be an awesome route.

for myself I think your thoughts have a true point of view. As one part there
is a problem that these routes are parts of different routes which contain
no deep topic. As many groups developed routes for MSTS starting 2001,
each routes had its own message (up to 2005 I think). But the old market does not exist more. But got we a real chance to change it?
RailWorks Developers told us (as for each version) that all problems would not exist and they do
all the best to support the community. The truth is that we are running the next frame inside a while loop.
We've got not the new documentations or tools but we got the message that they have the time
to develop new routes. We are living from try-and-catch peoples which told us something what
they figured out. That makes many (new) developers angry to get ready for it. Isn't it a bad situation?
But it isn't a new message, so have to talk about solveable problems. It is a truth that most german users are dreaming about big old MSTS content. But this is a train simulation
which exists in thousands of heads and each has its own feature set. Most peoples don't understand that
good quality needs time and teams. And that's the state of the german scene (as my point of view). But I don't want to start a 'bash MSTS' topic. Yours thougths are right and you said some unspoken words.

Also geographisch gesehen -
-
