I love the floating button controls, will they feature in the final product too?
In all seriousness, you're doing a cracking job, Chris! Thanks for all the effort you put into your products (this train in particular)!Someone else pointed out the slight issue with the fire extinguisher blocking the door
I might have to make that the right size before I release

@ChrisTrains What i can do in the Cab with the LCD Screens? Can i change the Destination Board or something like this?
The LCD screens are mostly for information - there won't be anything interactive on them for v1.0
Maybe a future update. -
Stealthy steps. Damn.
Yet more work.

Just out of curiosity: Will the retractable steps beneath the doors work similarly like on your ODEG GTW Add-on, meaning you can switch between high and low?
For this one I believe there is only one set of steps and they will open automatically with the doors.

@ChrisTrains I think your Pantoraph has a wrong size. The Picture Below (in the spoiler) show you, how it should look like. Your pantograpf is a bit to wide/short.

FabiaLPI can look again tonight. Maybe the arms are a little too wide. Some of it might also be an optical illusion - the power line in that photo seems much higher up than in the game

You're welcome. It was fun to do the interview

Out of interest I've spoken to Maik at VRR about how they did their manual doors. As it happens, they only 50% solved the problem, and only for a train made of an engine pulling separate coaches. They never solved the problem for an EMU / DMU because there are too many complications. Even their 50% solution only loads passengers for 35 seconds. After that, the doors may "look" open but the game thinks they're closed so no more passengers get on or off.
So - yeah - no manual doors

I know though only to 0.00001% in the field, but it would not be a possibility to omit the animation for the door opening via Key T and to make an animation for the respective lever / switch in the cab?
With the switch of the switch for the doors in the cab and is meant to animate the. For the doorThis translation is made with Google Translator.
I can do this, but then the AI doors don't open ...

I've been around this loop every time I make a new train and every time I get to the same conclusion : I probably CAN do it but I don't have a simple solution. And I hate complex solutions

The question is why other developers get these system working. For example vR : There you could control the doors by yourself and when AI drives, the doors work normal.
But i understand your opinion and i think there are more important things then door controls ...
I know others have solved the problem but I just got so frustrated trying to find an elegant solution that I gave up

Someone will have to translate this for me

Doors : there's a reason I don't do manual doors on my trains. The game REALLY wants to control the doors and it gets very upset if I take over with scripting. For example, I can make my animations play only when I want them to, not when the game wants them to. This works well if you're driving the train - it means I can script a dummy control in the cab that would allow you to decide for yourself when to close the doors. BUT if the AI is driving, then you will see trains leaving the stations with their doors open. Or you'll hear the sound of the doors opening but the animation will keep the doors closed.
There's also a very long existing bug in the game where you can't actually open the doors by making just the "DoorsOpenCloseLeft" and "DoorsOpenCloseRight" controls. These SHOULD work but they don't. So I can put a button in the cab and connect it to those controls, but they do nothing. The only control that does work is the "T" shortcut then the game decides which doors it needs to open.
I gave up trying to solve this problem 2 years ago.

Ah ok - I get it now.
A wagons = 0429 100 -> 0429 127
B wagons = 0429 600 -> 0429 627
C wagons = 0829 100 -> 0289 127D wagons = 0829 400 -> 0289 427
E wagons = 0829 700 -> 0289 727Thanks !!

Thanks for the info.
So are the numbers 100-127 meaning they have 28x 5-wagon trains?
Or are the numbers the actual serial numbers of the wagons?
For example one train is wagon type A-C-D-E-B (the five wagon types)
Does this mean one train has serial numbers 100,101,102,103 and 104 for it's 5 wagons?
