Hello Jan,
as the title says: are you planning to release EN version of the Seddin expansion?
Hello,
I have the following problem with Koeblitzer Mountain Route v3 - it seems like that some of the rolling stock - I think it's the mint BR143 with its coaches cause the sound of the passing train to stay replayed in a loop till the end of a scenario. I remember the same problems with BR151 and there's a fix for this downloadable from vR. Is there something similar for the mint BR143 (sound update)? For the time being I replaced all the offending rolling stock from the scenarios.
Thank you very much.
Maik has just posted on UKTS that the rest of the updated packages will be published tomorrow to avoid high server loads.
vR BR 103 TEE package has just been updated to version 3 with a long awaited jelly cam fix (in-cab camera stability issue) and LZB/PZB modifications and some additional minor fixes.
At this time it seems that only the TEE package is updated.
Hello Maik,
if you happen to release another version, do you think you could correct that "FEHLER! TEXTMARKE NICHT DEFINIERT" on the front page of the EN manual? Not a big deal of course, but still... ![]()
Perhaps you could upload the fixed version to the product page first?
BTW thanks a lot for this great loco!!!
Die Lichtdiskussion darf eingestellt werden. Soeben hat die Lichtkegelregelung ihren Weg in die Loks gefunden.
Does this mean there will be an update soon? Or I just did not understand this one correctly?
I guess that nobody tried it out as everyone has been driving their br132 and 232 since yesterday morning ![]()
Me too ![]()
Anyway, please feel free to write your answers in German and if someone is willing to translate my text above, would be great. I dont want to use google translator here as I have no control over what could come out of it ![]()
I'd really love to know what you think about the modification...
Hi all,
I have a small tip for you for the Three Country Corner Route, sorry if this (or something similar) has already been posted here before.
In short: it consists in using the default kuju sky in 3CCR. Although it may look as a step backwards with those beautiful skies from TTB that 3CCR has, to me the route generally looks better, I get MUCH better viewing distance providing some great views in the Arlberg Pass never seen before (at least not by me) while keeping the blue haze; it also gives you mountain shadow effect, which I've never seen with the 3CCR default skies. It also removes the ugly brown hills/mountains when you set your sky to clear in QD.
Here's how to do it:
Go to the RailWorks folder then Assets\JustTrains\Austriaobjects\ and backup the whole TimeofDay folder somewhere (in case you would like to go back easily). then go to Assets\Kuju\RailSimulator\TimeofDay and use the files there to overwrite the files under Assets\JustTrains\Austriaobjects\TimeofDay renaming the EN name to the DE one in the process so that the filenames are kept the same for 3CCR:
Winter - Winter
Fruehling - Spring
Summer - Sommer
Autumn - Herbst
And you're done.
I think it is mainly a matter of personal preference, so some may not like this. I know that I myself will switch to those typical 3CCR skies from time to time - and there's nothing easier - just copy those original files back from the backup.
If you try this - please let me know what you think about the change. I haven't had enough time to test it thoroughly so there may be some issues I haven't noticed.
Does anybody know the exact reason why this patch will be Steam exclusive? I have the route registered on Steam as well, so no issue there, but as I say above, it will definitely take longer to get published. I see no reason why Aerosoft should not provide it as they are the main publisher for this... ??
Additionally, I am a bit concerned about the extra payware stock scenarios. What I did with each update was to let it be downloaded from Steam first and then install the Aerosoft version on top to get those scenarios. If Aerosoft v1.20 will not exist, how will this work?
Hello all,
I've just created a new version of the cool.dav file for basic Taurus cooling sound representation. It is generally more suitable for the cab view, so it is a question if you'll consider it superior to the existing sound. I personally prefer the new one, though I haven't had a chance to test it for a longer time yet.
The sound can be downloaded here.
Please let me know what you think.
Hello Jan,
I just read in another thread on this forum that the 1.20 patch will only be released via Steam and not through Aerosoft. Can you confirm this? If it is so we could wait for the update for ages... ![]()
Thank you very much and thank you for all your efforts!
Don't tell me... See you next year then... ![]()
Lucky me I bought the route from Aerosoft (actually I wouldn't wait for the steam release anyway). Aerosoft's latest patch is 1.11. Do you know when 1.2 is planned to be out?
To Leonid: if I understand that correctly, you are saying there will be a 1.2 patch for B-W that will include official support for LZB?? That would be awesome...
OK, understand. If you would finally have something new, please let me know. Many thanks!
Hi,
I am the one who created the current cooling sound for Taurus by mixing the original HRQ's cooling sound and the real Taurus sound taken from one of Taurus0815's videos.
However I am still not sure I am satisfied with the result, I especially don't like its high-pitched overtones. Attempts to remove them result in lower quality sound unfortunately. Therefore I would like to ask Taurus0815 (and others as well of course): do you have some new sound samples captured both from outside and from the Taurus cab while the loco is powered up and standing still?
Or what do you think? Should the high-pitch part stay (if you know what I'm referring to)?
Thank you all!
There's a new update that has been released today. It contains some minor changes in sound and provides an option to disable lights on 1216s.
Thank you so much!
Thank you very much, Stefan!!!
Thanks a lot, StS!
Stefan, could this resolve the problem?
