Yes, you do need the BR189 folder unpacked in the right location before install.
If you go manual copy all BR189 folder contents including the engine folder because I only have included the changed files in the download. All unchanged files still need to come from the original BR189 folder.
So start with the BR189 files and overwite the engine folder with my repaint files.

Maybe someone will find what causes the problem.. Sorry for the inconvenience, I always try to make things errorfree but apparently I failed on this one

I have made a short video of the installing process. It seems that it works on some systems and not on others..
Maybe a thing to check; The installer assumes that the BR189 Folder is here: ..railworks\Assets\RSC\BR189Pack01\RailVehicles\Electric if it is somewhere else the batch file cannot find the files to copy. When unpacking the .ap file using 'extract here' this should be the case. If using extract to [somefolder] it will NOT see it.

Run the .RWP
Run the installer.bat (to at least create the new engine folders)
Abort the installer before the last step (when it deletes the \Temp folder)
Manually copy the contents of the temp folders (everything inside Temp\Croft, Temp\Cyborg, Temp\004-4 etc.) into the newly created repaint folders.
Or move the unpacked BR189Pack01 folders (Audio...RailVehicles) to RSC\BR189Pack01\
Na.. Muss ich mal schauen was los ist... Ich habe es auf 3 verschiedene Systeme installiert ohne Probleme.. Normalerweise solte es wie folgendes gehen:
.rwp installiert alle repaint files in ein Test ordner (unter /electric) und die .bat in PMdesign Ordner.
Dann macht die .bat installer neue Ordner und Kopiert alle BR189 Datein drin.
Nächst kopiert die installer die repaint Datein aus die /Test Ordner ins richtigen Ordner
Letztens wird die /Test ordner gelöscht.
Es soll dan unter /electric neben das Original BR189 Ordner neue Hectorrail und oder DB und Railion Ordner geben..
Denn es bei mir Funktioniert brauche ich Hilfe von einer bei dem es nicht lauft.. Bitte schick mir ein DM wann du mir helfen wollt.

Hmm.., keine ahnung. Sieht aus es fehlen einigen Texturen.
Bitte installiere nochmals und uberschreibe alle Datein wann das .bat installer darum fragt.

Yeah, they look very similar. I still need to tweak the autosmooth and get rid of a lot of polygons (way over budget) without loosing too much detail.. and then start the uwv mapping and texturing. That is a first too so another big challenge for me
