    Updated to V1.1

    TS 2017 Raildriver Interface V 1.0.1 uploaded

This updated version fixes the following.
    1. Added extra error checking to further help in fixing problems
    2. "Delete currently assigned button" crashing TS now fixed.
    3. Loco changes now detected correctly.

I have also noticed that the Lever maps in the Updates\Lever Fixes folder which were supposed to be copied to the Keymaps\Levers folder were instead copied to the Inputmapper folder (that's what you get when you copy & paste code). This has now been fixed but for those of you who have already used the program, you need to copy all the folders in the Updates\Lever Fixes folder to your KeyMaps\Levers folder allowing them to overwrite the current files. These fixes set the lights/wipers to work correctly as well as some other minor fixes on some trains.

Regarding the issues in the post above this one, it would appear this is only an issue with very large TS installations where it would appear the sheer number of files to be processed can throw up an error or two. These errors can show in two ways, either in the error log or with the interface hanging with a particular file. If a file makes the game hang then it is a problem in the file and re-installation of that lok is necessary. If it is shown in the error log then it may be enough to use the single file extraction option, or again re-installation of the lok may be necessary.

So far for me this works with DTG, AP, & VR addo-ons will work my way through the others as time allows.

Currently there is an issue with the AP class 91 enhancement pack. The author is working on a solution. Until the solution comes the class 91 should be temporarily moved out of the assets directory until the data extractor has finished. I also have an issue with a file in one of the 3Dzug folders and have adopted the same temporary solution. This only seems to affect a few people with large asset folders, mine is 448GB. The author is looking to see if there is a memory issue with large asset folders.

The steam scenarios are compatible if you use RW tools as the class 37, and presumably other items are now within the folder of the route. You would have to manually install workshop scenarios and use RW tools to change the path of the vehicles included with Wherry Lines. Also the route from AP includes branding on the vehicles. I have the original, but AP have confirmed on UKTS that all vehicles are contained within the route folder structure on the Steam version.

This is the latest version of Cobra Ones Interface formerly known simply as Raildriver interface. This is not compatible with the other scripts found on this site. http://rail-sim.de/forum/wsif/…017-Raildriver-Interface/
    From the UKTS site;
I have uploaded V3 which I have renamed to TS2017 Raildriver Interface and called it V1 as people keep asking if V2 will work in TS2017. There is only a readme file that tells you how to install it in the Standard mode, I will work on a full instruction manual over the weekend.
What can the new version do?
There is now just the one program that does everything
Keymaps have been split into Lever maps and button maps so you can assign a specific button map to a set of loco's and when you edit that button map, all loco's are updated.
All Lever maps are generated automatically when you run the data extractor
The levers can be reassigned so the Throttle/ ThrottleAndBrake can be assigned to the LocoBrake or you can use the LocoBrake for the Cruise control.
You can reverse the direction of the levers so they operate the same way as the cab levers
You can use the whole of the ThrottleAndBrake as the Throttle
You can have the program run automatically and minimize to the task bar when windows starts.
And best of all, the program detects the loco you are driving and automatically load the relevant lever and button map for you.
Any questions until then can be asked via email at address in readme file. or posted here and I will happily pass them to the author if preferred.

If anybody is willing to translate the manual when it is available please let me know.

In present day they are used on Sleeper trains, fife circle trains in Scotland, and many short term hires, including of course the Wherry lines. The differences of the MK2D variation are not modelled, although MK2 DEF were used in mixed rakes nationwide in their lifetime, so not the end of the world. Some people have decided to wait and see if they come to steam.

@WestWind I think a year for third parties releases to appear may be a little optimistic, there are as yet no development tools, and when they come there will be a lot of learning. Also to fully implement the possibilities of TSW will take a lot longer, and probably the smaller companies will struggle and prices will be still higher.. I suspect I will still get at least two years yet out of TS maybe three. I probably won't move to TSW until there are a reasonable range of add-ons. I have no desire to go back to routes with maybe 3 loks, 2 coaches and 6 wagons. I am also not a great fan of new plastic trains and I suspect that these may come first. But as I said , I don't like paying higher prices, this add-on was not done in house by AP, only the sounds and maybe scripts, and I suspect that is why the cost is higher in this case. AP has had to raise prices for items like these, the 313, Thumper and the 90, or they would have been lost to DTG and steam. The 90 packs almost all ended up on Steam. No doubt in a simpler form. Naturally he then has probably questioned the value of his own work.

The lack of passengers isn't a problem for me. The fact that it is only representative of the MK2E & F coaches is more of an issue for me. Mk2D coaches had some differences that are not catered for in this pack. A little disappointing when you look at the work put into the Thumper and Wherry lines. I will still buy it when I get paid, but I feel personally that there should have been no reference to MK2D's. There are many who don't care about the differences and will be perfectly happy with the pack. Price-wise I am surprised AP have kept their prices so low for so many years, I would say a price rise was long overdue, but that doesn't mean I am glad to pay it. ;)

CLASS 313 EMU PACK V1.1 PATCH RELEASED
We have released a patch for our Class 313 EMU Pack which fixes the following things:
    - Now possible to couple to another class 313 within a scenario
    - AWS reset button now works when using mouse
    - Other minor fixes
This patch can be found beneath the 'Downloads' heading on the pack's product page.

Glorious Devon Exeter to Plymouth 1958 is now updated to ver1.3.

    Release notes are:

    1) Kingswear, Churston and Brixham platforms are now populated and will load/unload passengers. *note: Brixham is a short platform with a set of points by the centre of the platform. In order to load/unload the engine must straddle the points and the carriage next to the engine will then load/unload. A long train to the end of the platform cannot load/unload but this would have been a rare event in real life also.

    2) A situation where RW allocated a number "1" to detail levels on random scenic items, signal post, houses, vegetation etc. rendering them invisible even at the "Highest" detail level setting has been corrected. This problem was global in nature over the whole route ( and also on many other routes). Now players should see more scenery and some of those missing signal post and TPO lineside changes should be visible.

When the great locomotive engineer George Jackson Churchward became the Locomotive Superintendent and Chief Mechanical Engineer of the Great Western in 1902, he knew exactly what was needed. He drew up a plan for 6 new locomotive types which would serve the needs of the GWR. However, not on this list were the 2-8-0 tank types. Later, having seen the need for something more powerful to bring the heavy coal trains down the valleys to the ports, Churward made a new list locomotives, and this time included a proposal for a tank version of the successful 2800 tender loco. The prototype appeared in 1910. Many refinements were made over the years which followed. GJC's successor, Collett, continued building the 4200. But with design changes, the 5205 class was born. This occurred in 1923.
They were almost solely used in the South Wales Coalfield. But there were some notable exceptions. During the First World War, some 4200's worked coal trains to Shrewsbury. Although, this wasn't ideal, as with small water tanks, many water stops were needed! They very rarely appeared in the London area. One notable occasion is when 4238 was seen at Paddington in 1931 on a passenger train, no doubt helping during the summer rush. Some also worked in the West County, in Devon and Cornwall. However, this was the exception, rather than the rule.
The master of pretty much any job, these powerful tank engines will soon be coming to Steam Sounds Supreme, courtesy of Victory Works.

Add to all of these options for outside or inside steam pipes, tall or short safety valve covers as painted or polished brass, red (early GWR) or white lamps, cab weather panels and bunker guards and the possibilities are nearly endless.
As well as the usual features you expect from Victory Works (realistic wheel slip, simulated steam chest, advanced boiler management, realistic injector control, "by the shovel" stoking and dynamic smoke, steam and cab effects) we have also added some all new features for this locomotive..
    * Improved firebox model and textures
    * Extra cab views
    * GWR second/low tone whistle can be used to activate the guards van hand brake by “crowing” at him (when used with the included 20t Toad Brake Vans)
    * Low speed "lumpy motion" synonymous with this locomotive class, fully synchronised to the driving wheel weights
    * Brand new second valve effects demanding even more conscientious and realistic driving
    * New atmospheric AI effects (whistle blowing, cylinder cocks, requesting guard van assistance on and after steep gradients)
    * Authentic and Realistic Sounds Recorded From a Real 4200 Class
    * Sounds designed to interact with all the advanced features listed above
