And please help spread the word!

    P.S.
We are still investigating the C69 initialisation issue and it going to take a little longer for the scripting team member to get it working as it involves partly cheating the TS script manager.
As a result the Pre-Corporate Repaint Pack won't be released just yet as it's important to get this key update working first. Sorry about that.
    Backdated Trainsim

If I remember correctly there is a procedure you have to follow with the D,C and 73 stock, but I am not at home at the moment. Can only recommend reading through the stock manual. I have not had time to take a run on the route other than a very quick one with the DTG 38 stock, the doors worked ok with that.

    In detail;
Today, many of our packs have been updated to improve their audio efficiency.
To elaborate, Train Simulator can only play a certain number of sounds at one time and whilst to date this hasn’t been much of an issue, the increased complexity of our audio means that in busy scenarios, this limit is increasingly being reached. As a result, you may find that AI trains pass you with reduced sound or sometimes no sound at all.
In a bid to reduce this problem, we have assessed the sounds in all of our latest packs and reduced the distance at which they activate. Until now, this has been set at a standard 3200 metres (2 miles) so as to ensure a sound never ‘pops’ in or out before fading sufficiently. In hindsight, this was over-generous so we have set much reduced distances depending on the loudness of a sound and its likelihood to be heard from a distance. For example, the loud/bassy class 37 will still be audible from 2000 metres away (the maximum distance you can be from a player train) whereas quiet sounds such as the compressor or doors have been reduced to 500 metres.
Please see our update log for which packs have been updated: https://www.armstrongpowerhouse.com/…/sup…/AP_Update_Log.pdf
This is by no means an urgent update so don’t feel as though you need to re-download as soon as possible. We just thought we’d give some background to this mass update and hopefully the benefits of it will be heard in the years to come.
P.S. We've also updated the run, joint, flange & brake squeal sounds on the Class 150/1 Enhancement Pack & Class 150/2 Diesel Multiple Unit Pack, to match our recently released Class 156 Diesel Multiple Unit Pack.

They are always looking for new team members to help improve the add-on. Just send them an e-mail and I'm sure that they will welcome you with open arms. For the price I would say it's pretty good, especially when I look at some of the low end payware out there.

    From Facebook;

The class 465 is a rather complex beast. The /0 & /1 sub-class were built by BREL/ABB and the /2 sub-class by Metro-Cammel. Whilst looking superficially similar, there are many audible and visual differences between them. From destination displays, to underframes, to windows, to braking equipment, to traction motors, the list goes on!
To add to that, in 2010, the BREL/ABB examples were re-tractioned with new Hitachi equipment to improve reliability. This resulted in yet another new traction sound for the class, as well as a newly exposed underframe beneath the driving coaches to aid ventilation.
Finally, there is the 2-car class 466, which is used to form 10 car services, as well as a shuttle service on the Bromley North & Sheerness branches.
To best allow us to represent all of the detail differences between these variants, we shall be splitting this enhancement pack into 2 volumes. The first will be from the units’ introduction in the 1990s to 2010. The second, from 2010 to the present day, with the all-important ‘Hitachi’ variant.

We've been delighted with the success of the launch of the Gotthardbahn route, and overwhelmed with so many positive comments about it. As is always the case with software though, there were some issues so the team have been working hard to fix as many as possible in an update for the route that we hope to make available soon.

We'd like to thank everyone that's taken the time to get in contact - we've collated everything we've seen across forums, emails, social media, and from those of you we've spoken to in person. It's not possible to fix everything that everyone would like us to, but we think we can fix a great deal of them - here's a list:

    - Updated audio horn

    - Updated audio on wheels when cornering

    - Fix for the rear axles on the wagon pivot points

    - Track type updated to show tunnel start/end points on the HUD

    - Darkening wheel rim surfaces on loco and coaches

    - Darkening wheel axles on loco and coaches

    - EWIV Bt door opening corrected

    - Re460 PMS brakes amended to be in default raised position

    - Adjusted ground reflection of red lights

    - Added various additional assets along the route.

    - Lavargo Motorway asset updated to turn off Clipping volume in-game.

    - Updates to Faido Station model

    - Updates to Bellinzona Station model

    - Updates to Bodio Station area

    - Updates to SBB Coach model

    - Fixed various floating trees and truck issues

    - Various localisation corrections across all languages

    - Updates to both in-game text and to documentation

Please note that these updates are now in the process of being tested and in case of problems might not all be implemented in an update which we hope will be available before too long.

We would like to thank you for all your feedback and while we cannot guarantee that all your wishes are granted, the team is working hard to address as many issues as they can. And whilst there's always a limit to how much can be done, if you feel they're doing a good job they would really appreciate reviews being left on Steam.
