I really don't unserstand the complaints, though everone is entitled to their opinions. An S-Bahn train was already included in the Ringbahn (which is mandatory for this DLC), the BR480 was announced as a separate DLC already years ago, and the only other S-Bahn that would be suitable was already said to come later on. Same goes with the cab car, which was already known to be an individual DLC, and not including it in this extension shouldn't ruin the immersion. At least with this concept, everyone has a proper vehicle for all lines that are being offered in the JWD add-on.

There's a small gap in the tunnel wall at BER.


Also, the white wooden podiums at turnarounds don't allign with the cab doors almost everywhere.

Until there's a better alternative, yes. Also, their progress with NG still gives us modders some hope that we will be able to enjoy our mods with decent framerates. Even if this game releases with proper modding tools (which they say it will include), creating decent mods for UE titles require much more effort, but we'll se what future brings.

That just looks like a StillerTec Kombihebel, which is already available for anyone for a steep price.

Not sure what you mean, I've the European Loco and Asset Pack installed, that's what came with the map (I've already had it before)

please make sure that you're playing a pre-defined scenario from the "Standard" tab at the top when starting the game. Playing a quick scenario is nice. However, it usually does not give you the red bar you're talking about. (And it may tell you at the end that the scenario was not completed successfully)

Though, you can still "complete" the scenarios within a quick game. It just tells you that the scenario was not completed, AI trains do not open the doors and AI trains have no train destination indicator on the train itself.

Additionally, I would highly recommend using the manual door controls since you can then decide for yourself when you want to close the doors. The automatic door controls close the doors automatically, and the "T" button (keyboard shortcut i) doesn't do anything.

I'm using the Standard scenarios (and yes, the game is in the Standard tab when choosing), and I only wanted to use the automatic mode for testing purposes. (So just to be clear, I'm not talking about quick drive.)

I'm aware I can play in quick drive, however I would like to complete (with a checkmark at the end) all scenarios included with the map just for fun.

I've bought the Steam version, however I can't pick up passengers. I can manually open the doors after swithing to manual door control, however it doesn't start the clock bar in the HUD, hence I can't complete the scenarios. Also, in automatic door control, pressing the button T doesn't do anything. What could cause this?

Maybe tight, but not impossible like in TSC.

Also, the minimum of 35 second waiting time at stations don’t help, and for some reason TS often helds you at stations for even longer.

It works perfectly for me with the Joystick Interface.

Even though nobody complained before, I have to ask: Is it possible to complete all scenarios with a check mark?

For examle at Broken Rails II, I arrive to Ostkreuz on time but the game only lets me into Treptower Park after standing 6 minutes in front of a red signal. But there are also other scenarios where I "push pedal to the metal" and still can't drive fast enough to arrive on time at every station.

There must be an an other "mistake" in your Route.

I think we are not talking about the same thing. To use different speed, modify electrification and use different radii you only have to edit the track propeties (which you can edit it on the right side of the screen), while using different track rules you change it on the bottom left side at the dropdown menu to another.

Well I used more than one track rules on a map before, and then I couldn't create scenarios, the scenario editor just dropped a "Multiple Track Rules" error message. Are you sure about this?

It's definitely not Hungarian, maybe Petrzalka but not sure.

Afaik it is a different kind of SiFa to most other DB trains. It cannot be reset while not calling for action. It gives semi-random calls for action (within certain rules and always upon accelerating from a stop through ~15km/h) and then has to be pressed. If pressed while idle it will not reset any timer. Here is the link to the German SiFa Wikipedia entry. Have a look at the SiFa 86 entry and you will see this is very similar to the way it behaves on the S Bahn trains.

Well I've seen plenty of Führerstandmitfahrts of the 481 and if you release the pedal, the light comes up, then you press it again and it resets.
