Maik talked about it being sold as a seperate route, not as an Erweiterung.
Aber wir wissen nichts.

I’m thinking that perhaps TSG sold off the route to JTG. Then it can be released under their banner with the tunnel errors and TSG can sort of wash their hands of it. Which would be win win. The route comes, and Maik can get paid for the time he has invested in the route.
Coming at the end of the month according to he RSSLO fb page.
The third REAL DRIVE for the Gotthardbahn. Faido to Erstfeld. After the Gotthard tunnel i was behind slow traffic. It is very challenging to have many red signals when they are hidden behind sharp curves.
I haven’t finished making the 4th drive yet. But when it’s finished and has been through beta testing all four drives will be released so everyone can enjoy Gotthard randomness.
Never set Markers over switches, bevor, after or between both is better!
Not in this case. This was the only way to force the dispatcher to set the switches correctly! If i did it the normal way (see the description of the problem earlier in the thread) the dispatcher simply ignored the route i set.
Setting in extra destinations like this seems to be solution.
Makes me wonder if Rivet Games are going to buy TS from DTG at one point.
I am doing it this way for this route: there were only consists for Intercity and Gravel in the Gotthardbahn preload folder. And only 4 different trains all in all.
But i’ve made over a hundred consists myself during the last months, and i made some new ones with the Re460 lok too. Both DB and ÖBB are driving freight trains on the Gotthardbahn so i could enable a lot of my consists made for German and Austrian routes.
My home made consists use the following categories
Regional
Intercity
Coal
Gravel
Oil
Container
Scrap
Nuclear Flask (for single engines)
Costum 1 (for very long freight trains)
Costum 5 (for freight wagon only loose consists)
Costum 6 (for person wagon only loose consists)
The reason i use that many different categories is that the random algorithm consist picking in TS is not that good. So to make sure you don’t see the same train too many times in a qd you can not only use Coal for freight trains, like RSSLO do. Use more categories and TS gets better at random picking consists.
For my public version of the Gotthardbahn Real Drives the rwp will add a preload folder with more consists than the 4 Rivet Games delivered.
Could be it’s just things that they didn’t want to be there and it was easier to remove the assets from the folder that drom the world efitor.
Is that lok one that comes with a route? When i make Real Drives i try to make a point of not using anything that is payware except for the route itself.
Put in the portals yourself. With a litle “hack” you can do it in the scenario editor. I do that all the time.
Does any of the Rollmateriel the Thomson routes fit on the meter gauge rails at the north end of the gotthard tunnel?
Just announced on their facebook page.
It probably wont be fixed if you don’t bug report it:-)
I don’t think that is an error in the Brennerbahn. To my recollection the spawnpoints just weren’t correctly set to spawn freight trains.
I’ll experiment with that.
What solves the problem for now is deleting an Ai train 30km down the route.
The dispatcher code is a fragile thing... I’ve had it happen exactly as this in Kö-Ko. Except there was no solution at all.
The train changes from the mainline to the tracks where the gegenverkehr comes. This happens dispite having routed the train via the right destinations. The dispatcher simply ignores the route i’ve set for the train. The “via” checkbox is checked.
I’ve illustrated how the dispatcher sets the switches. The player train is routed via the the destination. (It is the Gotthardbahn so the trains are driving in their respective left sides)
