I’d expect there would Be AI traffic with the rollmateriel that comes with the route. Otherwise that would be a first.
I can see the 3dzug stuff that’s been added in the 3dzug folder.
But there should be one locomotive delivered with the route. What folder should that install in? I am actually pretty sure that is what is missing in the installation. Without that locomotive nothing is going to spawn.

I dodn’t have version one. Only bought it this afternoon. Perhaps it is no problem for people who updated from v1 to v1.1

matthias.gose Wondering if the update zapped most of the AI traffic in the quick drives. Ran two and except for a few talent trains, there was no AI traffic at all. Nor any rolling stock on sidings.

Are you talking about Streckenauswahl in quick drives?
Then you need to make sure the locomotive matches the route type. If it is a diesel route you can’t run it with an electric engine.

I am preparing the Real Drives for Zürich Olten for public release. But one thing is troubling me. The AI freight traffic. Since i don’t want to force people into too much payware i am going to use the Re460 that comes with the Gothhardbahn, since i assume that if you have Zü-Ol you also have the Gotthardbahn. Then i am also going to use the Br185 (and the freightwagons) that comes with the 3dzug verkehrspack, since DB actually do run freighttrainservices in Schweiz. I wish there was a good freeware re420 but there isn’t, so if you want freightservices with those in front, you can build preloads yourself and add them to the route. I hope this is ok, it is the best i can do anyway. And the drives have turned out really good, so i think you’ll enjoy them.

I can read that the QD even have a couple of Hp0 in them. I wonder if they are random generated? That would make them like my Real Drives, which i think is great. I’ve always hoped that making the QDs more complex would catch on and perhaps become a thing.

Some people are almost abusive (and certainly obsessive) in their critique of developers. One guy (whose name i shall not mention) posted something on sn RSSLO facebook thread, that is very similar worded to critique (from a poster whose username i shall not mention) in RSSLO threads here, and somewhat similar to meckering in this thread too. It just goes on and on, and i wonder what good people like that imagine they are doing?
We got you: It is never good enough unless it is a route build by Maik. And it is always too expensive. Not enough rolling stock. The grass is hesslich etc etc etc…
In the time it takes to utter so much negativity, perhaps the time could have been used in a positive way. Washing the dishes, mowing the lawn, or even helping TS Neüeinsteigers here…..
I am not saying that critique is not ok. What i am saying is that wording critique so harshly, and so often and so compulsory, is making the TS community unnesecary sour.

REAL DRIVE advanced Düsseldorf - Köln.
With the recent vegetation update, this ancient route has got a new lease of life, even if the pzb is rudimentary, the overhead is not that nice and the track elevation is only slight.
With a lot of AI traffic, it really comes alive. And then with random signalling, it even becomes interesting and fun. Watch from 19 minutes in, if you want to see a very busy entrance to Köln. I’ve always felt that the route had potential in respect to what Real Drives are. Lots of random generated AI and random signalling.
And to my BIG surprise the signalling system handles the random generation of red signals in the path of the player train very well.

Expecting a release of a lot of drives during this summer.

Now that a decent upgrade for Düsseldorf Köln, has been made available, i have begun making REAL DRIVES for it. With the vegetations/scenery upgrade and LOTS of AI traffic, it really comes to live.

I don’t really care…. I want this route, and all it’s branches. And i will pay what it costs. AND i am pretty sure i will be happy with my purchases.
