REAL DRIVE advanced scenarios for different Routes. [Information-Thread]

    Weiter gehts in Bayern:



    REAL DRIVE the railway from Regensburg to Passau. Drive through Bavaria and be as alert as a real train driver. In this scenario, as in all REAL DRIVES, you can have a red signal in front of you anytime.


    Everything in a REAL DRIVE advanced scenario is randomized (except the route of the player train). Just the combinations of places where you might be stopped by a red signal can exceed millions of permutations. All trains and rolling stock on sidings are random generated too. Just like in real life the railroad line can be busy or not so busy. Ofcourse it can also happen (very rarely) that the line is free all the way.


    Don't forget to follow the instructions in the README.

    Hi Kim! Thanks for another real drive scenario! I'm thinking about doing a real drive scenario for the Munster-Bremen and Gotthardbahn routes... do you have any advice and "tricks" specially regarding trains that cause red signals or speed reductions? And in relation to AI trains in the opposite direction, whats the distance between kms (i mean 5,10,20,30...) should I place a spawn point so as not to overload the scene? Thanks for the help :thumbup:

    just recently I discovered your real drive advanced scenarios and like them very much,

    particularly with regard to the possibilities of creating my own type of consist, such as consist for different eras and/or type of Route, like you did for the Rodachtalbahn.

    Hi there, yes there absolutely will be more Real Drives. It’s all a matter of fitting it in with all my work as a musician. I’ve been incredibly busy, which means i haven’t had that much time with TSC. But in any music carreer there will be lulls, and i usually fill those with creating Real Drives.


    Lately i’ve been busy with sound design and learning the keyboard parts for a Peter Gabriel tribute show. (Which took place this past saturday).

    In addition to the soon coming REAL DRIVES for the Gesäusebahn, it seems that i will be finisihing drives for the Pyhrnbahn as well. So expect both in the near future.


    I’f i can find the time Knittelfeld - Klagenfurt might make it too, but i’ve only just started working on it.

    Zunächst und erneut vielen Dank für Dein Engagement weitere Strecken (insbesondere RSSLO Strecken) mit Deinen Real Drives auszustatten!. Ich hoffe - und würde mir sehr wünschen - das Du über die angekündigten (Rsslo) Strecken hinaus auch die bisher von Dir nicht bearbeiteten (Rsslo-) Strecken mit Deinen einmaligen Real Drives bearbeiten würdest.!


    Ja, mir ist durchaus bewußt, Deine (Frei-)Zeit ist - nicht zuletzt auf Grund Deines Musikerlebens - begrenzt. Sollte ich Dich in dieser Hinsicht unterstützen können (TS technisch bin ich leider ein Laie, aber interessiert, finanziell gerne für eine Unterstützung bereit), so schicke mir bitte ggf. eine PM um Dich unterstützen zu können!.

    Rail&Fly Your (and everyone elses) support is much appreciated.


    I only make these for my own driving fun, and because no-one else makes them. And from then on it’s a gift from me to our TSC community. It’s only time that prevents me from being more active and money can’t buy that anyway.


    Another factor is that if i accepted money, i would also feel obliged to give support to people who can’t make them work. And that would seriously take the fun out of it. I don’t mind supporting ofcourse, but once there’s money between me and a user, it’s another game.

    Hi there. Keine konkrete Termin.


    They are all finished, except rwp packaging etc, it’s just a case of finding a couple of hours to do it. It’s the part of the work i really dread haha. No creativity at all, just work. And i am really busy in my life as musician, so TSC work is last in the priorities. If i am lucky i will get time for it in week 42.


    But while i was at it, i updated my old outdated drives for Frankfurt Highspeed to Real Drive Advanced scenarios. So they will be released eventually as well.


    Also in completion are the long awaited drives for Münster Bremen.

    Hi there. A little update is in it’s place. I have been on quite a creative streak in TSC, which means that before i put work into releasing the growing stockpile of Real Drives, i wanted to get some more ones done.


    So this means that i now have Real Drives Advanced scenarios for, Knittelfeld - Klagenfuhrt, Selztal - Linz, Selztal - Eisenerz and Ulm - Augsburg plus a conversion of the now ancient drives for Frankfurt Highspeed to advanced Real Drives. All coming your way as soon as i find the time.


    I might want to do Augsburg - Nürnberg as well, before releasing anything.


    I did drives for Ingolstadt - Treuchtlingen and München - Nürnberg as well, i can’t even remember if i released them LOL. But if i didn’t, they will ofcourse be released as well.

    Mal eine Frage:auf Youtube hab ich einen Advanced QD für die Strecke Norddeutschland gesehen,stellst Du den auch zur Verfügung,da es eine meiner Lieblimgsstrecken ist?

    Iskult Zu dem Norddeutchland Strecke: Ich bin nur halbwegs fertig. Das heisst drei von sechs Drives are finished, und drei nicht begonnen.


    Ich denke das mein priorität wird zwichen Linz und Wien (und Wiener Neustadt). Dann Nürnberg Augsburg und dann Karlsruhe Offenburg.
