Physik Frage: tractive effort in Three Country Corner Route

  • Hallo,

Ich werde auch weiterhin in Englisch, dass ich nicht in die Fraire mit der deutschen Übersetzung zu erhalten.

    ES64 U4 climbing !

I have started a little funny test to check engine peformances in the same situation. I do it to see how my DB BR 189 Dispolok power corrected performs. I wouldn't like to create an overpowered unit... I hock 20 loaded SGGRSS to the engine and start from Bregenz in the Three Country Corner Route. I set full throttle with sander to have avoid Wheel slip (in some case, I have to reduce starting power at 95% for a few seconds). I check the speed at Braz entrance signal.

BR 218 : slow to 0 Km/h and starts to go back (not wheel slip message while going backwards)
BR 294 : slow to 0 Km/h and starts to go back (not wheel slip message while going backwards)
BR 266 : 29,4 Km/h (drop fast to this speed and keep it)
    ER20 : 31 Km/h
    BR 232 : 41 Km/h
    BR 189 (MK and Dispolok) : 55 km/h
    BR 145 : 55 Km/h
    BR 152 : 55 Km/h
    V200 : 68 Km/h
    BR 151 : 98 Km/h
    BR 156 : 100 Km/h
    BR 143 : 101 Km/h
    Vectron : 103 Km/h
    BR 101 : 114 km/h
    ES64 E2 : 112 Km/h
    ES64 U4 : 113 Km/h
    BR 189 Dispolok power corrected : 115 Km/h
    BR 152 power corrected : 115 Km/h
BR 146 : 121 Km/h (have to slow a bit before Bings to stay on track)
BR 185 : derail in the S before Bings due to speed up to 131 Km/h | 128 Km/h when breaking a bit to stay on track
    BR 120 : 129 Km/h
BR 146.2 : 131 Km/h (have to slow a bit before Bings to stay on track)

Is it realistic ? I think it's not for some models ! *shau* Best climbers : V 200 (diesel lok) and BR 146.2 (electric lok).

It seems my file TractiveEffortVSspeed looks great. I will release it for the MK BR 189.
