@ChrisTrains You mean DB Zugbus Regionalverkehr Alb Bodensee GmbH (RAB)?
Yes.
-
IF I can get the licenses in place, I would like the pack to include these 4, plus a repaint template:
DB Zugbus
Erfurter Bahn
Süd-Thüringen-Bahn
ODEGIt's very dependent on being able to find the right person in each company to get permission. With DB I know I'm OK. With ODEG I think I'm also OK. The other two are at the moment still not responding.

Hi Leute,
Was mich schon die ganze Zeit interessiert:
Arbeitet Chris eigentlich ganz alleine an seinen Projekten?
Das wäre nämlich echt bemerkenswert, dass er alleine die Fahrzeuge so gut erstellt und vor allem auch scriptet.
Wisst ihr da genaueres?
Lg
I do everything. Data (with help from people like this forum), model, textures, sounds, scripts, scenarios (sometimes), testing (with help), marketing, webshops, social media.
I'm a one-man operation

And this isn't even my main job ...

Hi. I already have a lot of plans, thanks.

Does anyone know of (or have) any good, orthogonal (ie. at 90 degrees) photos of the bogies? Like this one:

A placeholder topic for progress on the RS1.

@ChrisTrains
Have you made any changes in simulation files, etc? I have modded those files and wonder if i can keep them or if i need to re-mod them with this new update. I have the modded files already packaged in a mod-package i made.Only the new files for the Arriva version. So the throttle / traction files etc for the others are not changed.

@ChrisTrains
No update of version SÜWEX.
In other words, I do not need to copy all Geo files for the repaints that access the SÜWEX model this time?No - you should be OK. I did not make any changes to the Suwex version this time. It was all about the Dutch Arriva version for v2.0

The ONLY motors in the Flirt 3 are in the A and B wagons. If you build a 10-car Flirt 3 with only two motor wagons, then yes, it will perform very badly. If you build a 10-car Flirt 3 from 2x5-car Flirt3, then you have 4 motors and the performance will be much better.
I believe the longest Flirt 3 is in Switzerland at 8 wagons, and it has two extra power cars in the middle of the consist to give more power for the added weight.
In reality I do not believe there is a 10-wagon version anywhere.

Are you using 'simple' mode or 'expert' controls? For my models you typically need 'expert' controls. Also make sure you don't have the speed limiter set at 1km/h .... I had one dutch customer who complained his train wouldn't go faster than 40km/h. He never read the manual and his speed limiter was set to 40

About the acceleration figures : the performance of the train comes from technical data given to me by Stadler, both from acceleration figures at different speeds, as well as 0-40, 40-60, 60-100 and 100-140 times.
Remember the Suwex version has much more powerful engines to deal with the heavier train. So the overall performance is quite similar to the shorter versions.
The one train which loses out is the Dutch 3-car train as it uses the same motors as the 2-car R-Net version, making it MUCH slower (same power, but an extra 21 tons of weight).

Ah ok. Sorry. The other webshops only have v1.1. My shop has v1.11 but you can patch your own copy using this to fix the Dutch door sound: http://www.christrains.com/hel…wledgebase.php?article=91
