Thanks for this clarification. I looked at the MIREL manual but this is in Czech (and is 60 pages long). So it would be great if this additional information regarding the D1 test could also be included in a future version of the 186/386 manual.

Supplemental updates will address scenery and other areas that have been observed and reported. To ensure we are tackling as much as possible, and if you would like to help, any further problems you can identify would be appreciated. The first update is being worked on now, and we are targeting within the next week to 10 days. We will follow up on this thread throughout next week to ensure you are kept up to date. We are postponing the stream on Saturday as we do not feel it is appropriate to promote the game while one of its headline components falls short of both your and our expectations. We want to take this opportunity to apologise to players who feel let down by this release. We are reviewing our handling of new releases in light of these problems to ensure this situation is not repeated.

Ich habe MSFS20 (noch) nicht, habe mich aber gefragt ob es auch dazu geeignet ist, Bahnstrecken von oben zu erkunden. Ich habe dazu zwei Videos gefunden:
Hastings to Eastbourne UK following the Railway Line - hier ist die ganze Strecke gut sichtbar, siehe z.B bei 1:40
Montreux - hier ist leider die Strecke richtung Sion leider komplett verschwunden! (Siehe ab 5:20). In Bing Maps gibt es die Strecke jedoch.
Hat jemand noch weitere Erfahrungen hiermit?

Es gibt eine Strecke sowie eine Auswahl an Fahrzeugen, sowohl Freeware als auch Payware. Ich habe noch nichts gefahren, habe aber soeben die Strecke installiert und festgestellt, dass es einige Aufgaben gibt die nur Freewarerollmaterial voraussetzen. Ein minimalistischer Ansatz wäre also, nur die Strecke zu kaufen und sich dazu alle Freeware-Addons herunterzuladen. Aber ich habe den umgekehrten Ansatz gewählt - alles für umgerechnet 64 Euro gekauft.
