As already mentioned on UKTrainsim and the Steam announcement, huge failures and questionable material choice spotted:

    * BR186 is a lightly modified BR185.1/MRCE 185.5 from the 1st generation (they didn't even bother to take a BR146.2, which they have used on Köln-Koblenz and the Metronom !). Raised pantograph on the screenshot would be the DC pantograph on the real-life equivalent. Wide AC pantograph for Germany or the Netherlands (Betuweroute) is the outer one on cab end 1, the narrow AC pantograph for Belgium, France and Switzerland is the other outer one on cab end 2.

Also the pantograph pallets/horns are totally wrong for the real BR186 (curved on AC ones, triangular for the DC ones). In addition: wrong buffer/coupling area (revised on BR186 because revised crash norms), probably they will recycle the BR146.2 cab as well which also is far from reality and the list only goes on..

    * The only period both this BR186 in Fret livery and the original ICE-3MF / BR406 operated concurrently on French rails was between mid-2014 and mid-2015. From mid-2015 the Velaro D/BR407/ICE-3NG got their French authorization, and they were brought in quickly on the Frankfurt-Paris service. The original sets were recalled back to Germany for installation of ETCS Level 2, needed for operating the additional Frankfurt-Brussels serviced to be introduced from the winter 2015 timetable. But installation of ETCS and removal of KVB and TVM meant they lost their capability to run on French tracks. So only the Velaro D could operate to France from mid-2015 onwards.

    * A possibility to widen the realistic depicted timeframe/era would be to include the Velaro D, but then DTG is giving the route away for free (and we know they only include about 15 types of rolling stock per route. If we count a complete unit as 1 type, coaches as another type, freight wagons as another we quickly amount already to 15 even without the Velaro D !).

I'm assuming they will leave ancillary stock or scenario's (OSB, SWEG, the GT8 etc) to their third-party partners or even just the community if no partner wants to bite.

I hope ChrisTrains fills the void with a realistic D-B-F equipped version of his BR186, K-Trains doesn't seem likely to me (more interested in Eastern European stock aside from this pan-European venture once..).
