    Ja. Ist sie. Wird gekauft! Endlich eine weitere Strecke aus dem Norden Britanniens. Ich warte aber immer noch sehnsüchtig auf Strecken der ehm. LMS... Meine liebste der der Big Four!

    Also ich habe die Strecke gestern und heute getestet und kann sie jedem nur empfehlen, der an einer Strecke zur Dampflokzeit interessiert ist :thumbsup:
    Sie ist extrem detailliert ausgestaltet und durch ihre Länge und Streckengeometrie wird sie echt nicht langweilig.
    Getestet habe ich sie meistens mit Rollmaterial von BMG da dies einfach die besten Dampfloks sind, die es für den TS gibt.
    Eine BMG Black 5, manueller Heizer und diese Strecke: Da kommt Fahrspaß auf!
    Außerdem gibt es genügend Ladestraßen, Anschlüsse und Kohleverladungen, durch die auch das Rangieren nicht zu kurz kommt.
    An den Endbahnhöfen gibt es Drehscheiben, Wasserkräne (auch unterwegs) und Lokschuppen mit Kanälen, alles was der Dampflokbetrieb so braucht.


    So viel von mir zu dieser Strecke und jedem der sie sich zulegt wünsche ich viel Spaß damit.

    Tutorial Scenario:Ivatt Tutorial – drive from Tebay to KSE on the Ivatt 4. The controls required to drive and fire the Ivattare explained here. This is strongly recommended before using the other scenarios – both the loco andthe route can be a challenging drive, so this will help you get the most out fo the route.
    Working Timetable Scenarios:These are based on the Summer 1953 Working Timetable and prototypical AI (which was pretty quiet atthis point in the line’s history):

    Quick Drive(QD)The route is fully QD ready. This allows you to pick any of the included consists and run over any part ofthe route, with many different starting points.For further accuracy, there are separate start points for passenger and freight which should route youcorrectly. For example, “Barnard Castle Yard” & “Burton and Holme Loops” are freight starting points.There are also separate starting points for era – those with “1953” should display AI trains moreappropriate to the early 1950s, and those with “1960” should display later ones – note that early BRliveries were something of a mix and match well into the 60s.The AI is set up particularly that only the AI consists in the route should show, which avoids the issue ofrandom irrelevant consists appearing in QD mode.There are also separatecategories of AI for the Shapand Stainmore sections as theyused different motive power andconsists.

    Gerade mal testweise ein Szenario mit der Ivatt 4 angefangen, mein PC packt den ganzen KI-Verkehr allerdings nicht...


    Mal schauen ob ich da was ändern kann.


    Optisch ist die Strecke ein Traum, endlich mal was auf aktuellem Stand :)

    Eine absolut großartige Strecke! Von der anfänglich hier geäußerten altbackenene Bausweise und Assets ist nichts meshr zu sehen. Besonders nett ist, dass man auswählen kann, ob man 3d-Trees haben möchte und wenn ja welche (WCMLoS oder VP).


    Einziger Frustpunkt bei mir ist die mitglieferte Ivatt class 4. Ich bekomme die einfach nicht zum vernünftig Dampf generieren! Geht das noch anderen so?

    @Schwarzwaldbahner Many people have struggled with the Ivatt class 4. It is important to use the dampers properly (Key M). Usually they are closed when you start, you need to open them a little. Also the engine performs better once it has warmed up, just like real life. In real life you would close the dampers before entering tunnels (fatal if you didn't) and when you needed to quieten down the fire.

    Train Simulator, obwohl oft Ärger bringend, oftmals nicht mal mit ihm an sich, einer von dem man doch nicht lassen kann. Viele können nicht mal von Unterwegs von ihm lassen (Forum). Was nach meiner Meinung zu voreiligen Postings führt. Auch von Usern die selbst gegen solche schimpfen.

    @Loco-Michel Nein, im Moment ist es nur für die Vorbesteller raus. Müsste aber bald kommen.


    @holzroller Thank you for sheding a light on my issue, you fixed it! Indeed the damperners were the fault. As nothing is written in the manual and other things like the injectors are just on/off, I supposed the same to be true for them. Also the F5 view showed "on" after just touching the key. Mow she is steaming like she´s supposed to be! Just tested with 5 teak coaches on the test trak. Got to 60 and was still making steam as expected.
