[vR] BR 218 EL

    Newsletter ist toll nur wenn da nichts kommt kann man sich den auch in Haare schmieren. Hätte jetzt @Gainmaster hier nichts geschrieben dann hätten wir von dem Update auch rein gar nichts mitbekommen.


    Ist ja nicht so das man sich wöchentlich in sein Konto einloggt um nachzusehen ob es was neues gibt. Wenn überhaupt sollte das vom Anbieter selbst kommen und nicht anders.


    Aber da hat vR schon in Vergangenheit nicht mit geglänzt von daher juckt mich das auch nicht mehr. Geschweige denn das ein gescheites Changelog mal bereit gestellt wird wo auch jeder sehen kann was denn jetzt überhaupt geändert worden ist.


    Ich habe keine Ahnung warum das so ist aber Fakt ist das es bei anderen Anbietern solche Probleme eigentlich nicht gibt. Hat man Angst das wegen zu viel Traffic alles zusammenbricht und deshalb keine Meldung raus gibt oder was soll das ganze überhaupt.?


    Bereits im Oktober letzten Jahres hatte ich darum gebeten das meine bisherigen Käufe in das neue Konto übertragen werden. Bis heute ist rein gar nichts passiert.


    Nun denn auch das werden wir überleben. :D

    My 218 plus Stw haven't been working since day one. No startup, no smoke, no ZWS. This said after reinstalling TS three times to try to fix "something". All other (older) vR with Stw works. Now I'm on v6 of the BR218 alone, and it suddenly does not work in an aufgabe that worked fine before (Tilmann's RE3053 from Lubeck, which uses a Stw). It seems (for a few of us) the 218 can't swallow Steuerwagens, so I'm currently using vR's BR112 instead. Been in contact with Ulf about this, but there seem to be no solution.

    Most of you do not have this problem. According to Ulf, me and another guy. It's funny all other vR stuff (I soon have their complete expert line catalogue) works fine, but the BR218 and Stw not, nor the BlBe repaint. My Tilmann scenery worked fine with (I think) BR218 (standalone) v4, but v6 gave the same problems as the BR218 + Stw package. I simply do not want to twist my head more about this, other than saying I suspect it is a scripting/xml problem, where there is a comma instead of a ".", or a missing space (a space in a xml is a value). Have solved such many times regarding P3D scenery development, but not quite ready to take those headaches to TS. After all I have working BR218's - as long as I don't use Stw's. I'm always using 64bit TS by the way.

    Hmm, iI don't testing it with new Consist. Last days I have to much to work. So I can't take time to test it. I have also a STW Szenario to build, but not the time to finished that. I have in 3 days holidays and then can I look for that fail. I can not do it earlier. It is all times not so good to switch Locos. It can be make problems.
    Sorry, that I can't look and testing earlier. (And yes, my English is not so good, but my last English lessons are over 20 years ago :D ...)

    This is not your problem at all, and I still understand your Englisj :)


    Your Aufgabe has been working perfect for a long time, and I am still enjoying it, also as a good and detailed base for developing my own stuff. What to test for me is simply to leave the BR218 as it is, then delete the Steuerwagen, and then it will work, I'll test this tomorrow I hope. I say again... your Aufgabe is NOT the problem here. vR, TS or Windows is the problem, or all of them. Me, I'm totally innocent of course :D . I'll have a close look at the xml's later, for both the BR110 Stw and BR218 Stw, but hope is going down the drain, but I will not be crying about it!

    Moinsen Zusammen, niemand hat etwas verpasst, Updates kann JEDER im Shop in seinem Account einsehen, da wird eindeutig angezeigt, dass es eine neue Version zu einem Download gegeben hat. Geändert ist an der aktuellen Version nur die PZB, die hatte in einer Situation, wie hier im Forum geschildert, ein Problem und das ist behoben. Allerdings muss ich dann auch zugeben, dass der Shop eigentlich Mails bei Update verschickt, scheint hier dann nicht der Fall gewesen zu sein.


    Zu weiteren grafischen Problem hat sich bis dato niemand bei mir im Support gemeldet, das "Problem" mit den Regentropfen hatte ich ja bereits erklärt, das ist systembedingt durch 8Bit tiefe Alphas die alle angezeigt werden wollen. Wenn da jemand eine Idee dazu hat, wie das zu beheben ist, bitte melden.
    Im MSTS war das ziemlich einfach zu lösen, da bekam der Materialname zur Textur einen Index mit dem die Reihenfolge der Texturen geordnet werden konnte, eine solche Methode ist mir im TS nicht bekannt.


    Zum Problem von Norweger habe ich leider keinerlei Idee, er ist der zweite Kunde der sich gemeldet hat und Probleme im Zusammenspiel von Steuerwagen und Lok hat, derart, dass keinerlei Steuerung möglich ist. Im ersten Fall lag das Problem klar beim TS, eine Neuinstallation konnte das Problem beheben. Das scheint beim Norweger nicht funktioniert zu haben.

    Hier muss ich allerdings zugeben, dass ich seit dem Redesign des Shops auch keine Updatebenachrichtigungen mehr bekommen habe. Das ist scheinbar kein temporäres Problem.
    Das Leben geht natürlich auch ohne diese Mails weiter, aber diese habe ich viel lieber empfangen als den täglichen Spam Müll.

    Armstrong PowerHouse bietet eine Möglichkeit, mit Regen und Sonnenschutzmitteln umzugehen. Ich weiß jedoch nicht, wie das geht. DTG schafft es auch, dass auf APT-P-Sonnenschutzmitteln kein Regen angezeigt wird.

    I do not have any content you mentioned, but from my experience from past is my advice - try to reinstall but in GERMAN not in ENGLISH. AFIK there are often problems with scripts in English version. I hope it helps. Sorry for an simple English.

    I was about to try this (but got busy with Dresden-Scona and forgot everyting else). Well, knowing Germans (I'm a half German myself), I should have kept in mind English is not their no.1 virtue from experience all of my life (now running into my bunker) :saint::whistling::D

    Moinsen Zusammen, Danke für den Hinweis, Problem ist gelöst, der Norweger hat aktuell das Paket zum testen, mal gucken ob es bei ihm dann jetzt auch klappt. Zum Shader hab ich nochmal die Content Creation Guides gewälzt aber keinerlei andere Information entdecken können, als die, die ich schon verwende. Ich hab mal ne Mail an die Jungs auf der Insel geschickt, mal gucken ob und was da zurück kommt. An dem Problem im Shop zum Thema Updates News arbeite ich auch, also alles gut. :D:whistling:

    Moinsen Zusammen, Norweger hat dann positiv getestet, die englische Version funktioniert dann jetzt auch problemlos, zum Cab und dem Kampf mit den Scheiben warte ich noch auf Antwort von der Insel.

    Hmmm, scheint ein Großes Problem mit 218 443/412/458 zu geben, diese sind nicht mehr Fahrbar seit dem Update vom 21.2 ???


    Nichts Funktioniert mehr im Cab !!! Die Lok reagiert auf keine Befehls Eingabe mehr ?!
