Problem with RWA BR423 (S-Bahn Rhein-Main) and 'Raildriver and Joystick Interface' by CobraOne

  • I have recently been experimenting with CobraOne's excellent 'Raildriver and Joystick Interface' for Train Sim 201xx along with a couple of Saitek control panels. It works very well for the majority of trains I use. However, even, though it can scan the RWA BR423 package that comes with the S-Bhan Rhein-Main route, it cannot find the controls and compile the required XML file. Is there a solution to this?

Could I open the required files somehow and see what controls it uses? Perhaps compile the XML file for the train by manually editting another?

I appreciate any help you can offer.

  • Just in case that you still need help:

You have to create a lever map manually. That's pretty simple: you copy an existing one from another loco and then edit the "virtual throttle" (that's the only lever you acutally need). The notch values can be found in the "DB_BR423_Steuerwagen_B.bin". If you're interested in tyring the lever map I created send me a PN.

Keine Readme für den Support, der klar in den Dingen steht.
