Neue Version RW-Tools

    Mike hat die RW-Tools Version 4.2.10 veröffentlicht.


    In der Readme steht zur Weiterentwicklung und zum erheblichen Versionssprung (zuletzt 4.0.77):

    Bezieht sich das auf das Problem, dass man oft nur entweder Waggons/Personenwagen oder Loks tauschen konnte, aber nie beides zur selben Zeit? Wäre mal echt ein klasse Sprung, das ist dermaßen Nerven raubend jedes Szenario doppelt bearbeiten zu müssen.

    Mike hatte zwischenzeitlich auch noch die Version 4.0.77 online gestellt, welche aber irgendwie nicht lief (... jede Menge Fehlermeldungen). Daraufhin hat er sie wieder herausgenommen und erneut die Version 4.0.75, als letzte stabile Version und zusätzlich die 4.0.80beta, gestern online gestellt. Da ich diese auch erst gestern heruntergeladen, aber noch nicht installiert hatte, ist mir Mike mit der Version 4.2.10 nun zuvorgekommen. Mal sehen was geht ... :?:

    Habe gerade die neuste Version getestet. Als erstes fällt mir auf, dass ich nicht mehrere gleiche Wagen auf einmal wechseln kann, Error #6. In der Vorgängerversion geht das, also zurück.

    Das kann ich bestätigen, dieses Update ist fehlerhaft. Temp-Dateien hab ich alle gelöscht, derzeit für mich nicht zu gebrauchen, schade. Ich hoffe auf ein baldiges Update, mein Englisch ist leider nicht ausreichend genug um mit der Softwareschmiede Kontakt aufzunehmen um das Detail zu klären

    Gerade das Update heruntergeladen...in der Readme ist allerdings noch die Rede von V4.2.10...und die enthaltenen Dateien schauen auch genauso aus wie bei 4.2.10...mir scheint es, als ob da versehentlich die alte Version in der .zip Datei gelandet ist...

    Trifft hier leider immer noch auch auf die neue Version 4.2.12 zu.

    Seit dem 06.06.2013 gibt´s nun die Version 4.2.14


    v4.2.14 - Fixed options which checked various script files to check for *.out as well as *.lua because RSC
    are now using compressed *.out suffixes on scripts rather than the original *.lua files.
    Fixed another bug in the option to Swap rolling stock, where the option to Swap all similar items
    could go into a loop and lock up the PC.

    Habs schon getestet, es funktioniert mittlerweile die Funktion zum tauschen mehrerer gleicher Wagentypen in einem Consist nicht mehr.

    Wie schon in der Version 4.2.10 und 4.2.12 (siehe weiter oben), sehr seltsam, vielleicht wird es nicht mehr unterstützt *ka*

    ja, habe deshalb auch die "alte" 4.0.60 wieder genommen. Unterstützt wirds ganz sicher noch, da der Button ja noch verfügbar ist und bei der Benutzung ein Fehler auftaucht. Er wirds schlicht nicht wissen, dass da der Kot am dampfen is.

    Seit heute gibt´s die Version 4.2.20:


    v4.2.20 - 1. Fixed bug in 'List all rolling stock used by all routes/Check for Missing Stock' which failed to
    find assets in folders containing an ampersand in the name, such as 'E&BR'.
    2. Fixed QD consist builder which could fail because the ID number for rolling stock was not random
    and could provide multiple items with the same ID. Looks like QD routes actually check this.
    3. Added new option to the Edit Assets screen, a button labelled 'List QD Consists' - While fixing
    the above problem, I realised that there was no way to find in which folders QD consists were
    saved. This button allows you to find them (select the Assets folder and click this button and
    you will get a list of every QD consist).
    4. Added a new option in the Edit Assets/Update Sounds to allow users with the new Armstrong Powerhouse
    Class 37 sound pack to add this to multiple locomotives simultaneously.


    Make sure you copy the new Templates from this zip file into your Templates folder.

    Neue Version 4.2.22:


    v4.2.21 - Fixed bug in the Fix LODs option on the Assets Editor which kept giving Error 9 or Error 62 messages.
    Fixed bug in the option to 'Swap Identical Stock' in the Scenario Editor - this option failed if
    the scenario in question was written for older versions of Railworks. (In any case these older
    scenarios might not work under TS2013 due to format changes).
    v4.2.22 - Sorry, the above 'Swap Identical Stock' gained a new bug in that it sometimes swapped every other
    wagon instead of all wagons - this is now fixed.
    I have removed the 'Swap in all consists' until I can fix this properly.
